Every single one of the SSDs produced by LiteOn undergoes an intensive aging test in high temperature. Every NAND cell on the drive is tested and the drive instructed not to use blocks containing detective cells. LiteON requires 100% of our drives to pass this strenuous aging test to ensure that no data is stored on unstable cells and so prevent future data loss.

LiteOn uses the industry leading Flexstar test chambers for on-going reliability test to ensure the consistency of each production. Our in-house testing system is network server controlled allowing simultaneous intensive testing across hundreds of units using Flexstar Perseus software and a scripting language designed specifically for the SSD industry.
